Effective date: 1 June 2026. Last updated: 1 June 2026.

These Terms of Service govern your use of CipherSoc, operated by Kynetra Tech (ABN 43 773 244 648). By using CipherSoc, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

CipherSoc is a free email security scanning service that checks domain configurations including SPF, DKIM, DMARC records and NDB compliance posture for Australian businesses. The service is currently in pre-launch and available to waitlist members only. Access is subject to change as the product develops.

2. Informational purposes only

Scan results provided by CipherSoc are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, compliance certification, professional security advice, or any guarantee of security. You should not rely solely on CipherSoc scan results to determine your legal obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or any other Australian law. We recommend seeking independent legal or cybersecurity advice for matters of compliance. Kynetra Tech accepts no liability for actions taken or not taken based on CipherSoc scan results.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use CipherSoc only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Scan domains you do not own or have explicit authorisation to scan
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or abuse the scanning infrastructure
  • Use CipherSoc results to target, harm or defraud any individual or business
  • Submit false or misleading information when registering or using the service

4. Intellectual property

All content, branding, code and materials on CipherSoc are the property of Kynetra Tech. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of CipherSoc without our written permission.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Kynetra Tech and CipherSoc are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to losses resulting from reliance on scan results, service unavailability, data loss or security incidents. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of CipherSoc shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. As CipherSoc is currently free, this amount is zero.

6. Service availability

We make no warranty that CipherSoc will be available at all times, error-free, or that results will be accurate in every case. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
